Apple today released iPhone OS 3.1.3 for all iPhone and iPod touch models, addressing several specific bugs as well as offering fixes for a handful of security issues.

Με βάση αυτά που γράφει ο MuscleNerd το ultrasn0w δουλεύει κανονικά ακόμα και με το καινούριο firmware 3.1.2, αρκεί φυσικά να έχουν custom ipsw και όχι αυτό που σερβίρει η Apple! Εφόσον λοιπόν ειπώθηκε το παραπάνω δεν έχουμε παρά να σκεφτούμε ότι η iPhone dev team όπως και κάθε φορά έτσι και τώρα μετά την αναβάθμιση που έβγαλε η Apple δεν έχασε χρόνο και ετοιμάζει το καινούριο PwnageTool!

Η παρακάτω εικόνα είναι απόδειξη ότι το ultrasn0w μπορεί και παίζει στο firmware 3.1.2 χρησιμοποιώντας το modem της 3.0.1!

Δεν πρόλαβε η Apple να βγάλει το καινούριο firmware και ο Geohot άρχισε τα test του, σύμφωνα με ένα post στο twitter μας λέει ότι ακόμα και το καινούριο firmware δουλεύει με το blackra1n που ετοιμάζει και ότι το δοκίμασε ήδη στο iPhone 3GS του!

Η Apple σήμερα έδωσε την καινούρια έκδοση του iPhone firmware. Η καινούρια έκδοση είναι η 3.1.2 και διορθώνει διάφορα προβλήματα που έχει το iPhone όταν ανοίγει από sleep, διάσπαση υπηρεσίας δικτύου και κρασάρει κατά την διάρκεια του video streaming. Οι χρήστες που έχουν αγορασμένο το iPhone από Ελλάδα ή κάπου αλλού και είναι activated (ξεκλείδωμενο) μπορούνε να κάνουν update στο καινούριο firmware.

Προσοχή: Οι χρήστες που έχουν iPhone jailbroken ΔΕΝ θα πρέπει να κάνουν το καινούριο Update γιατί θα κλειδώσουν τα iPhone τους, περισσότερα σύντομα σχετικά με το νεο firmware απο την iPhone dev team, μείνετε συντονισμένοι!

Apple today released iPhone OS 3.1.2, addressing several issues regarding waking from sleep, network service disruption, and crashing during video streaming. iPhone users should connect their iPhones to iTunes and click the “Check for Update” button to obtain the new version.

This update contains bug fixes and improvements, including the following:

- Resolves sporadic issue that may cause iPhone to not wake from sleep
- Resolves intermittent issue that may interrupt cellular network services until restart
- Fixes bug that could cause occasional crash during video streaming

The update is compatible with all iPhone models and weighs in at approximately 240 MB. Apple introduced iPhone OS 3.1almost exactly one month ago, bringing a number of new features including Genius recommendation for applications, Genius Mixes for music and purchasing of pre-cut ringtones.

Update: A corresponding update is also available for the iPod touch.

Also, the iPhone OS 3.1.2 update for iPhone in U.S. is accompanied by an update to AT&T’s carrier settings file, which brings the settings to version 5.6.

Η νέα έκδοση του iREB είναι εδώ!

Only a few hours ago we have talked about iH8sn0w that, through a tweet, all customers informed about the arrival of the new version of iREB and a surprise for all iPhone 3GS owners. Let’s start by saying that the developer has released a new version that fixes some bugs. The tool is currently only compatible with Windows, but soon will also be available for Mac OS X.

Through a new tweet a few hours ago, eagerly anticipated and discussed, not in any way Jailbreak Firmware 3.1 for iPhone 3GS users. It was alleged that the tool he’s working on will in the near future to use GreenPois0n, the new project is doing the Chronic-Dev dedicated iPod Touch Apple’s 3G home. There are no other details about it but, of course, as soon as there’s an update, we’ll let you know.

Αυτή την εβδομάδα η Apple θα ανακοινώσει τα καινούρια της προϊόντα στο Let’s Rock event. Αλλά με τόσους νέους χρήστες του iPhone 3GS και τόσους του iPhone 3G… ίσως είναι η κατάλληλη στιγμή να δώσουμε αυτή την γενική συμβουλή.

Αν κάνετε update με την κανονική χρήση του iTunes θα χάσετε το ultrasn0w unlock. Στην πραγματικότητα μπορεί να το χάσετε και να πάντα, γιατί για τους περισσότερους χρήστες το baseband firmware δεν μπορεί να γίνει downgrade σε κάποια προηγούμενη έκδοση (αντίθετα με το  CPU firmware).

Αλλά μην ανησυχείτε… το PwnageTool σας επιτρέπει να κάνετε update το firmware χωρίς να πειράξετε το baseband firmware,  για να μπορείτε να είστε εντάξει για πολύ καιρό ακόμα. Αυτό που πρέπει να κάνετε είναι να είστε επίμονοι στο ερώτημα του iTunes “Θέλετε να κάνετε update στο νέο firmware” που θα σας ζητηθεί μέσα στην εβδομάδα!

Το νέο firmware μπορείτε να το κατεβάσετε πια απο το iTunes ή από τα παρακάτω links…

Σύμφωνα με διάφορα παράπονα οι servers για activation τις Apple είχαν μεγάλη κίνηση με αποτέλεσμα την απόρριψή μεγάλου ποσοστού χρηστών που προσπαθούσαν να κάνουν activate τα τηλέφωνα τους εκείνη την στιγμή.

Αν αντιμετωπίζεται το παραπάνω πρόβλημα μπορείτε να:

1) Κάνετε restart στο iTunes
2) Κάνετε restart στο iPhone σας / ή απλά αποσύνδεση και επανασύνδεση στην USB

9/10 προσπάθειες με τα παραπάνω περνάνε το activation!
